Our mission is to make politics accessible and “digestible” to all people for the purpose of rebuilding civic engagement to support a strong foundation for democracy in the 21st century. We are committed to building an informed, engaged, and participatory public.
Let's face it, the 2016 presidential election changed everything. The shift that our country (and the rest of the world) is undergoing right now is significant, so how we address this shift will determine our future, as well as the future of our children and grandchildren. We are not just forward thinking; we are rethinking what it means to be an engaged citizen, in the U.S. and globally.
We aim to help answer the questions:
How can we create meaningful and sustainable change to benefit the greater good?
What does an engaged and participatory public look like in the 21st century?
Our focus is on creating meaningful communication and collaboration to empower individuals and inspire positive action. We are changing the conversation by:
- Making political information accessible and "digestible" to support informed discussions and decision-making.
- Improving communication skills to support learning about and civilly discussing the stuff that really matters.
- Helping everyone get involved and stay involved in a manageable and sustainable way.
- Building effective social movements.
We value respect, thinking, open-mindedness, inclusiveness, and a willingness to learn, grow, and develop as individuals and organizations.
